Weddings at St. Paul’s

We offer a traditional church setting for you to celebrate this new beginning in your life as a married couple, using the liturgy of the Anglican Church. The Anglican Church believes there is an inherent spirituality to the sacrament of marriage as you join together in matrimony.

Our priest is happy to meet with you to discuss details, arrangements and fees. Our music director would also be pleased to discuss the music options available to you.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be a member to be married at St. Paul’s?

You don’t need to be a member of St. Paul’s to be married here. At least one of the couple must be baptized.

Can we write our own vows?

You’ll need to use the vows from the Anglican service, but you may write something original to be used in addition.

Can we have special music?

In consultation with the music director, you may add musicians or soloists to enhance the liturgy. She may be able to assist you if you don’t have contacts yourself.

Is there a cost to be married at St. Paul’s?

There are fees for clergy and musicians from St. Paul’s. For non-members, we also ask for a donation to the church.

How much notice is required?

The Anglican Church requires 60 days’ notice before your wedding.

Can we be married outside the church?

We are permitted to officiate at weddings outside the church with certain provisions. Let us know what you have in mind!

What preparation is required?

You’ll meet with the parish priest three times and attend a marriage preparation session.
