Growing in Faith as Children
St. Paul’s offers a creative and welcoming Sunday School program for children ages 4 to 12 years. We create an environment where children can learn together how their faith in God will guide them in their everyday life. Together as teachers and children, we learn the stories of Jesus in a way that is fun and interactive.
Our program is delivered in a One Room Sunday School format, bringing all children together in one room with one teacher and a helper. Each Sunday the children participate in various activities including games, crafts and interactive lessons. We begin and end our program in the sanctuary, ensuring our young parishioners feel a part of our church community. During the announcements the children also show the congregation what they have made and share what they have learned in Sunday school.
During the year, our children also participate in various activities outside the schoolroom such as; contributing to special services including Easter, Remembrance Day and Christmas, making St. Paul’s Christmas Tree ornaments given to each family at our family Christmas Eve service and helping with the church float for the annual Uxbridge Christmas Parade.
St. Paul’s Sunday School is offered for children ages 4 – 12 years during our 10:30 am service. We also provide accommodations for parents to stay with their infants in our Sunday School area.
