Presentation to North House

St. Paul’s Outreach Committee have been able to financially support North House for several years.  When they approached the Churches and other volunteer organizations in Uxbridge for funds towards their proposed move to larger premises, we were pleased to propose a motion at Vestry to use money from our investments to assist them.  This motion passed and on April 24th, 2022 at our Easter Carol service Joy was honoured to present a cheque for $10,000 to Mona Edmond, the Executive Director of North House.  The new premises will enable them to provide laundry and shower facilities as well as food and a place to meet for those who are homeless or precariously housed.  It is hoped also to be able to provide a warming place in winter and a cooling one in summer as this is an increasing need here.  We feel this is something we need to do as we are fortunate enough to have the resources to do so.
