Each Sunday we celebrate Communion together at 10:30 am with music, hymns, scripture readings, a sermon and prayers. Although masks are optional, we strongly encourage those worshiping to wear a mask for their own protection and the protection of others. We look forward to welcoming you to St. Paul’s.

Resurrection and Earth Day

Year after year, I get through Easter weekend and all that goes along with the journey from Palm Sunday to Good Friday to Easter morning, and I can’t believe it’s over. It’s such a fulfilling pilgrimage that rekindles joy and renews hope especially with the world in the state it is at this time. Add to that this year that we have missed two Easter celebrations together because of Covid 19. There is no doubt that this Easter was particularly meaningful for me and I suspect for you too.

As I thought about it, though, I reminded myself that our celebration of Easter isn’t just one day. At the very least it’s fifty days, lasting until we celebrate Pentecost. However, even more to the point, for you and me as followers of Jesus, everyday is resurrection day, every day is Easter because Jesus is alive, present, active, engaged and recognized in ways that we both easily recognize, and in ways that aren’t as obvious too.
