Join Us This Sunday

Each Sunday we celebrate Communion together at 10:30 am with music, hymns, scripture readings, a sermon and prayers. Although masks are optional, we strongly encourage those worshiping to wear a mask for their own protection and the protection of others. We look forward to welcoming you to St. Paul’s.

“Renew A Right Spirit Within Me”

As I started last week, in my musings throughout Lent I will reflect on Psalm 51 verses 10 to 12 … “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your holy spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit.” This week I will focus on the second phrase … “renew a right spirit within me”.

The world we live in and the times we live in present us with so much that has the potential to compromise our spirits, our faith and thereby our faithfulness. We don’t have to look very far to know that truth and reality day to day. Just this week there was the driver who intentionally ran into pedestrians that he targeted in Quebec. Such a senseless tragedy that causes us to feel grief, and to wonder where is God in the midst of such a horrendous act and where is the good news of Jesus? Read More.
