“Faithworks … putting our faith into action”

God has blessed us abundantly with the gift of faith and hope through the promise He has given us especially in His Son Jesus Christ. And that faith and hope sees us through many difficult, trying and stressful times throughout our lives. I can’t begin to count the number of people who have said they aren’t sure how they could have coped even marginally throughout this pandemic without their trust in God. As well, I often hear those who are grieving say they don’t know how people go through this without faith. There is no doubt that our faith is a blessing to us ourselves.

However, part of being the recipients of faith as a gift from God is that God desires it to motivate us to be faithful in our lives and in living out what we profess to believe in. There are many ways we can do that; one of them is to share of the abundance we have to assist in ministries directed at those who are on the margins of our society, those who are often most vulnerable and have no where to turn for help in their need.
