Every Child Matters

The scripture passage that comes to mind for me today and throughout this week is, “Jesus wept”. There is no doubt that Jesus is weeping and grieving and lamenting as the graves of the 215 children were discovered at the Kamloops Residential School. It is such a travesty that has and continues to profoundly affect not only our Indigenous brothers and sisters, but each of us and our country as a whole.
