Companions on a journey

We all need to have companions on our journey of life … friends who walk with us and support and encourage us during the difficult times, and who equally celebrate with us the joyous moments too. It’s interesting too that we often have friends for certain periods of our lives. And, there are some who are lifelong friends who are companions on our journey and there alongside us no matter what.

We equally need to have spiritual companions on our journey of faith. At its best, that is what the church is called to be as we make our pilgrimage through life together as the body of Christ.
