We gather on this fifth Sunday of Easter to continue to celebrate the joy, hope and promise of the resurrection which forms us as followers and disciples of the risen Christ. Today, we also remember mothers and give thanks for the blessing they are in our lives. As well, we enter into an act of remembrance for the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.
