Holy Week Batman!!!!

Many of you, like me, may well have at one time or another watched Batman. Robin, when they found themselves in a predicament would undoubtedly exclaim … “Holy XXX Batman!!” It was one of the catch phrases of his character.

Over the years, Robin’s exclamation has been hijacked for any number of scenarios, most of which are startling or overwhelming or stressful. In past years, I remember seeing it used to describe this week we’re in, especially in reference to how hectic it is for clergy. 

This year, “Holy Week Batman!!” takes on a whole new meaning given all the stresses, anxieties and worries we’re going through with Covid 19. It truly is a holy week in more ways than one!!! Read More
