I was thinking that of the many griefs people are feeling these days, the loss of physical connections through community is right up there as one of the hardest. We are a people created to be in relationship with one another which is the very essence of what Christian community is all about. So it’s not untoward that we grieve the loss of that given that we haven’t been able to be physically present with each other for a number of weeks.
