This online liturgy allows us to continue worshiping corporately together even as we are socially isolated at this time. Today we welcome the children and young people of the parish who are participating in the liturgy. We take the opportunity to remember it was Earth Day this week as well as to pray for all those affected by the tragic shooting in Nova Scotia last weekend.

If you can, please join in at 10:30 am on Sunday so that we are worshiping corporately together as the body of Christ. As always, though, if you are not available at that time, please enter into the worship at a time that is convenient to you.

Good Friday Online Solemn Liturgy

Speaker: The Rev. Canon Mark Kinghan

Friday, April 10, 2020

On this most holy and sacred day, we remember the passion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Good Friday. In his death, we are blessed, we are saved, we are forgiven … and all by God’s grace.

I invite you into this solemn liturgy when we remember all this day means to us and the gift of faith God has blessed us with for every day of our lives, but especially for such a time as this, confronting Covid 19.

Palm Sunday Worship … Sunday April 5, 2020

Speaker: The Rev. Canon Mark Kinghan

Sunday, April 5, 2020

We gather for worship on this most holy and sacred day, Palm Sunday, as we begin this holy and sacred journey through this holy and sacred week. We will sing our classic Palm Sunday hymns … pray together … hear God’s word to us … and hear a reflection by the Rev. Canon Mark Kinghan.

We especially need to be affirmed in the story of the way of the cross and empty tomb in these days we are experiencing.

I invite you to light a candle … and although dispersed in our own homes, in front of our own computers, if you are able to enter the liturgy at 10:30 am in order to worship collectively with one another.

If you are unable to do so at 10:30 … I encourage you to enter into the liturgy for this most holy day at your convenience.

Wednesday March 25 Prayer & Reflection

Speaker: The Rev. Canon Mark Kinghan

Wednesday, March 25, 2020

Through scripture, reflection and prayers, we find comfort and peace through the readings of the lectionary for this past Sunday. They weren’t chosen specifically for this time; they are used every three years in the cycle … and yet they are so pertinent to what we are experiencing now.

Please join in on this liturgy of prayer, scripture and a reflection by our area bishop, The Right Reverend Riscylla Shaw. We may be scattered in our individual homes, in front our computer screen, but as we tune into this video together at 10:30 we are united together as the body of Christ.
