Starched Christians …

Everyday I receive in my email a devotional written by Pope Francis. The one today struck me and inspired some reflection on how our Christian faith is seen and perceived by others around us. And in particular how our faithfulness to the gospel can be inviting to others around us to join in discovering their own discipleship ministry as followers of Jesus.

Pope Francis wrote … “We cannot become starched Christians, too polite, who speak of theology calmly over tea. We have to become courageous Christians and seek out those who need help most.”  Read More
