A Voice in the Wilderness Crying Peace

In the wilderness of our time, we as people of faith need to cry out a message of peace that grounds us through our relationship with Jesus, the one we know as the Prince of Peace. This week’s Advent theme is the peace God offers us in His coming among us, and in His promised reign which we wait for and anticipate.

However, that promise of peace can seem so elusive and unrealistic when we look at all the upheaval, wars, violence and hatred in the world today. All around us are the realities which speak of the antithesis of the peace God promises and offers through His Son Jesus. Read More
